Creflo & Copeland Take a Stand

I find it very interesting that although Senator Grassley suggests that he is not targeting the theology of these "word of faith" ministries, that all of them are in fact: word of faith ministries. Senator Grassley suggests that he feels that these people are abusing their tax exempt status when ministries the sizes of the six in questions take extra caution to ensure they are complying with regulatory standards via audits several times a year.

I must admit that I appreciate the fact that Pastor Creflo Dollar and Kenneth Copeland are taking a stand against what is nothing more than an attack on the Word of Faith theology. I find it offensive that the government believes that church people are poor and should that they should be poor. Reports have shown that World Changers Ministries headed up by Creflo Dollar brought in $69 million dollars last year, but all of that money went out to do the work of the ministry. Was anyone aware that it costs money to minister?

Creflo Dollar has gotten on many news shows and told how he makes his money. He owns several businesses and writes book where he owns the intellectual property rights. The same can probably be said for the other five ministries as well.

These minstries do more with their millions of dollars for people than the government does with his billions. I don't mind the stand they are taking. I say let them send a subpoena... or the next thing the government will be doing is censuring what the church can talk about.
